MODEL 717B GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DELCOM non-contact conductance monitor senses and displays the sheet conductance or sheet resistance value of any electrically conductive material. The two part instrument is provided with a twelve inch reach, 0.100 inch gap sensor head. Measurements are accomplished by inserting a conductive sample under the target area within the sensor head gap. The sheet conductance or resistance values are displayed in units of Mhos or Ohms per square. The 717B is equipped with user programmable pass/fail discrimination. A multicolor vertical bargraph displays the decision point status. Interactive computer control is optional through a bi-directional RS-232 serial port. I FEATURES

The microprocessor based 717B allows for instantaneous display of either sheet conductance or sheet resistance. Front panel programmability can optionally produce an external signal to alert operator of product acceptability. An analog output signal can be used for chart recorder representation of web conductance versus position, thus assuring product characteristics. The output displayed is in absolute units that are, with proper calibration, NIST traceable and correlateable to DC four-point measurements.

OTHER DELCOM PRODUCTS

DELCOM offers vacuum chamber systems for process monitoring and control. Inspection station/rewinder systems can help assure product quality. Instruments and systems are capable of conductance/resistance evaluation from speeds of zero to 3000 ft./minute. DELCOM also supplies optical systems for determination of optical density and percent transmission.
